HOW TO CREATE A GOOD INTRODUCTION?

1.      Opening

The first step where you should open by saying greeting.

·         Formal: Good morning, Good afternoon, Good Evening.

·         Informal: Hi friends, I will introduce myself.

 

2.      Main Idea

The essence of the material to be delivered. In this case the introduction. The contents are:

·         Name

·   Place and Date Born

·         Age

·         Address

·         Status

·         Religion

·         Blode Code

·         Hobby

· Family Background

 

3.      Closing

The cover sentence or often called leave taking

·         I think that’s enough.

·         I think that’s it

·         Thanks for your attention.

·         It’s nice to see you.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Amira. I’m fithteen years old. I was born on September 21th 1998 in Bandung, where I live till nowdays. I study at SMAN 1 Bandung. I think that’s it, I am sorry if I have some mistakes and thank you for your attention.

2.      Informal

Hi friends. My name is Junia Arfah. But please call me Juni. I was born in Surabaya on February 1st 1993. I am 18 years old. I live in Surabaya with my parents. I like playing drum and reading the novel. So nice to see you.

1.      Expressing Like

2.      Expressing Dislike

Example:

         RULES OF LIKE AND DISLIKE

1.      When these expressions are followed by a verb, the latter is put in the -ing form.

   Example:

·         I like writing a story telling.

·         I hate using the glasses.

2.      Note that very much and a lot.

Example:

·         I like bicycle very much/a lot.

·         NOT: I like very much bicycle/a lot.

3.      Be careful when you use I don’t mind....

Example:

·         Do you mind playing game?

·         No, I don’t mind. (Although it’s in a negative form, it means that it’s okay for me. I neither love it nor hate it.)

Borobudur temple is one of the most beautiful tourist resorts in Indonesia. It is situated in central Java. Borobudur temple is one of the seven wonders of the world which needs to be preserved its circumstances.

The people all over the world know that Borobudur is one of the greatest art works that ever known since long time ago.
          Borobudur temple was built by Syailendra Dynasty during the eighth century. It needed more than two million river stones. It is the biggest temple in the world.
          After going into some restorations, Borobudur is visited by more and more tourists, both domestic and foreign tourists. Most of them admire Borobudur temple because of its beauty, its elegance and the story of the relief on its walls.
          Domestic tourists usually go there by bus or private cars, while foreign tourists like to join travel bureau because they don’t need to think of the transportation, accommodation, and itinerary. There are some money changers around the location. It makes them easier to change their money. But some of them like to bring credit cards and checks.
